About TypeAnyKey
TypeAnyKey is a reference for the characters that are not printed on your keyboard: currency marks, maths operators, arrows, accented letters, Greek letters and the rest of Unicode's useful middle ground.
Every entry is generated from a single dataset: 1,164 symbols, 341 alt codes and 424 accented characters, each with its Unicode name and codepoint. Character names and codepoints come from the Unicode Character Database via Python's unicodedata.
The site runs in your browser, with no ads. Google Analytics counts visits, but only for readers who accept it in the consent card; for everyone else no analytics script loads. Every font, script and stylesheet is served from this domain.
The site is written and maintained by the TypeAnyKey editorial team. To report a wrong shortcut or a missing symbol, write to [email protected].
